Brass Storage

Scavanging range brass has created a bit of a storage problem. I keep clean .38, .45 ACP and 9mm in trays that hold 300-500 rounds. The trays are stackable. I've been putting empty brass in 1/2-gallon buckets. The buckets fill before I empty the trays. I've started cleaning the brass and putting it in 1/2-gallon-sized plastic food containers. Looks like I ought to be able to put the brass back into the trays since they are the source. Must be getting much more brass than I'm reloading or shooting: 4 jugs of brass and only the .38 special tray is getting empty.
