Taurus PT1911 and Ammunition

Shot the Pt1911 Saturday. Groups looked good with Ultramax 230gr lead bullets. Then fired Independence 230gr. The scatter was so bad that I put the PT1911 down figuring I just couldn't shoot it and shot the GP100. Got good groups with the GP. Fellow at the range sold me 2 1911 magazines and a box of Winchester ammo. Shot the Winchester from the Taurus and got the best group I've had with it. Looks like the Taurus doesn't like Independence Ammo.
