The Caldwell bag rest makes a big improvement.  Also seems to like Wolf MT ammo, but it did pretty well with almost everything fired.

10/22 mod First time out

First, need to discuss the excellent, high-tech Black Creek Bench rest.  Even wobblier if you go three blocks up.

Took about 4 rounds to zero the scope at 25 yards.  Target has 20 rounds of Win 555.

After about 100 rounds at 50 yards I fired this target with 10 rounds each of the listed ammo.  Seems to like CCI SV or Eley Sport pretty will

10/22 Mods

10/22 with Green Mountain barrel and Fajen Legacy stock. Fairly easy replacement. Need to do trigger work.

Used 1911

Purchased on price and as a potential project. Colt slide, essex frame, Bo-Mar sights. Shoots pretty well. Trigger is heavy and the guide rod seems to be too long. Have guide rod, 16# spring, cap and Hogue grips on order. Just what I need.

M19 disassembly

Done to check on light strikes. Interesting but I may need to replace the hammer spring if it keeps it up.
Fired on 7/31 and no problems.
