Plumbing Expert

I don't think this is the right way to do a shower drain. Took a dremel to correct the height

.45 ACP

250 rounds of 200 grain LSWC on 5.7 gr Universal.  Loaded over two nights.  The garage is a hot place for summer reloading.  The universal loads seem to do fairly well.

TCP 738 after Fix

Fired 13 rounds from the 738.  Slide did not stay open on last round on first mag.  Second mag the slide held back on empty.  11 of 13 rounds were 2" low left of the target at 15 yards, indicating I was jerking the trigger(?).  No ejection problems.  Looks like they fixed the problem.

I would have been a better test had I picked up the 3 boxes of ammo I left on the loading bench.

Lawman at the Range

Fired about 50 rounds of 158gr LSWC and 15 rounds of .357 mag from the lawman.  Only problem was hard to see front sights.  First three rounds were X's at 15 yards, then it went down hill.  Kept them in a 5.5" circle.  Did six rounds inside the 7 ring of a 50' timed and rapid fire NRA target.

Good SA trigger and easy DA trigger.  It does release earlier than the S&W's and GP100.  Pleased with the purchase.

Colt MKIII Lawman

Couldn't pass it up when I saw it at Gander Mountain. Gander has darned good prices on some used firearms, sells them with a 1-year warranty and a free trip to their smith, if needed. Also, they applied a military discount. Under $300 OTD.

Not fired yet. Mebbe Saturday.

PT738 Back

The 738 was returned on Wednesday.  Turn around was about 3 weeks, half of what I expected.  I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.  Mebbe Saturday.
